Social and Emotional Intelligence, Bridging the Gap

2 Days Training Workshop

April 7, 8

Overview:

Social and Emotional Intelligence is an in-depth workshop that strengthens emotional intelligence skills to support both personal and professional development.

Built on the influential work of psychologist and author Daniel Goleman, the workshop blends core theory with hands-on exercises and group activities. Participants leave with practical insights and tools to develop their emotional intelligence and apply it effectively in everyday life.

Why Emotional Intelligence Matters?

Emotional intelligence (EI) is essential for success in work and life. EI involves two key abilities:

  • Recognizing your own emotions so you can manage your reactions.
  • Understanding others’ emotions so you can treat them with respect and build healthy relationships.

Put simply, EI means being aware that emotions shape behavior and affect others positively or negatively, and learning how to manage those emotions constructively.

Training Objectives:

  • Enhance Cross-Functional Synergy: Move from "weak and inconsistent" communication to a "clear and respectful" model
  • Develop Emotional Intelligence: Shift from "low awareness" to a deep understanding of others' perspectives and challenges.
  • Improve Feedback Resilience: Replace defensive reactions during performance appraisals with an "open, growth-oriented mindset".
  • Foster Active Listening: Eliminate assumptions and misinterpretations that lead to project friction
