Being a remote manager or team leader is not an easy job.

Experts agree that body language is an important part of communication. So how do you successfully lead a team when you're all in different locations and can't even see each other regularly?

Without the benefits of direct supervision and regular face-to-face contact, remote managers must know how to plan and encourage coordinated but independent working, as well as how to support those struggling to adapt. Nonetheless, it's a rewarding experience and can increase worker productivity, reduce employee turnover and boost morale.
