Overview:
Organizations are looking to hire the best candidate that fit to achieve the desired performance and brings the best results. However, it is not easy all the time. It starts first with selection of candidate who posses the competency needed for each specific job.
Competency based interview training will take you through a practical learning journey about what a competency is, its components, and how it is linked to interviewing. The techniques the participants will learn are practical and hands-on, so they can start applying them as soon as they finish the training.
When complete this training, you’ll have the knowledge and tools to design interviews that are objective, consistent, and aligned to the performance requirements at your company.

- Apply and conduct behavior-based interviews and selection techniques (STAR & CAR techniques)
- Use different questioning techniques to validate the applicants’ answers
- Follow the steps to carry out an effective competency-based interview
- Learn how to structure, ask, and score effective behavioral questions
- Assess the candidates and make recommendations.
- Apply a systematic and reliable approach to evaluate candidates.
- Make effective evaluation and hiring decision.
